I should specially mention about Rajesh Singh from Hiway Cabs Driver, without whom our trip would not have been awesome. He was terrific from the day 1, he reached Chandigarh airport on time for our pickup. He was always punctual and used to share lot of his travel tales and experiences which made us to ignore the journey tiredness.

He will give at most respect and we never had a single bad experience with him, he will arrange everything, and he was having a helping nature. He was always soft spoken with my father and mother; he uses to answer all the questions which my father was asking him, but he never got impatient. Also, his driving skills were too good, and we never faced any uncomfortable situation while driving in ghat roads of Shimla/Manali/Haridwar. He is really cool, and we became friends with him in time. He was very experienced across different states we covered throughout our journey(Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana), he made us to do lot of adventure activities which was not at all planned in the trip and it was really helpful of him. I wish Rajesh ji all the best for his future trips, and may God bless his children with all the luck in the world.

We hired an Innova Crysta for 5 day 4 night package from Chandigarh to Kullu, Kasol and Manali.

The attitude of the driver was very unprofessional. He even had the audacity to ask us to step out from car and walk down 1.5 km on our trip to Kasol city for dinner citing traffic congestion. He was a person so rude that he couldnt even acknowledge our request for a tea stop on our way back to Chandigarh airport. He finally stopped at a street shop under the bridge near to airport for tea the place which have no hygeine standard.

Driver is only interested in taking us to adventure activities where he would get a hefty commission.We can see lots of people were enjoying snow at the end of Atal tunnel and inspite of our request driver didnt stop there and moved to an adventure centre at Sishu. On the way back we made him forcibly stop at Atal tunnel and my wife and elder daughter enjoyed at snow. If it was not there it would have been a great loss.

Driver didnt know anything about Kasol too and when we insisted on having dinner from Kasol he was very hesitant. Driver was always on phone and the vehile condition too was not upto the mark.

So when you book a cab from them please be cautious and insist only on the drivers where the good reviews came otherwise your vacation...
