Balaji Hospital — Local services in Gujarat

I had my c section delivery done at Balaji in Feb 2023. The experience to start with is kinda mixed.. when i first visited the hospital it didn't give me a good vibe, Dr Padma mam is straightforward in nature and she would remind you of your naani or daadi who is strict but caring. i felt the receptionist is rude in nature so overall it was a disappointing experience and i was unsure if i want to continue here or not.

But then found out one of my friends knew the doctor for a long time and is going through pregnancy at the same time as mine. This gave me the confidence to go ahead with the hospital.

Trust me when i say this, you have to be as Frank and candid with doctor. And then slowly we connected well and the best part Padma mam answers all your questions in depth.

On my operation day, i requested the team to play some music and they played music for me too! The team is sweet, caring.. only thing is we got to be as frank as possible.

And the professional experience says it all.

So if you are planning to consult, make sure you are frank and open in attitude.

Sorry for the long post but had to share. Don't even deserve 1 star. Dr. Padma Iyenger is very rude. I came from overseas and went there for my routine checkup. She was least interested in my case and never answered me rightfully. She never used to check basic things like BP, weight or my baby. I had to ask for my routine referrals for scans and blood tests as she never used to give me. Instead she used to become so offensive and said "coming from a developed country doesn't mean you know more". I once was feeling dizzy and she said "eat well as you girls don't want to do anything and rather complain" but never checked my BP levels, which came out to be very low when I went to see another doctor. Glad I changed my gynec and was at peace that my baby and I were fine. Never go there. I heard many bad reviews from my family and friends as well. You don't wanna...

I recently visited Balaji Hospital, Vadodara with my uncle who was suffering from a heart-related problem on the recommendation of a friend. We consulted Dr. S. R. Iyengar, one of the most experienced and kind-hearted cardiologists here. He is extremely calm, patient, and compassionate, and explained everything in detail about my uncle’s condition.

All the cardiac tests including ECG, 2D Echo, and Stress Test were done promptly and efficiently within a week. The diagnosis and treatment provided by Dr. Iyengar were excellent, and my uncle is now feeling much better and relieved from his heart discomfort.
