District Science Centre — Local services in Gujarat

Superb place of science fiction & also good place to take small childrens to gain knowledge as well as also good for the young people. This place creates quriocity in the minds of small childrens very intresting place to gain knowledge to them childrens learn something new thinks something new. Anyhow here there are also some rabbits as well as tortoise you can find here. Inside the center you will find the visual screen show and after that you will find some glass of different types, some differently arranged glasses, also quiz show was use to be there, then you will find different things many more like colour conbination. Then you will find also very special thing there known as NAKSHATRALAY which is seperately built there it is a show all about the nakshatra & constilations & a variety of information can be taken from here of about the sky visible to us simply at night. Also full outside it is a zone of loan growth. This place is also good for the picnic. This is located at the Dharampur town which very well known ancient town in valsad district of Gujarat state. Also in neighbouring to this center you could find the museum which is named as lady willson museum. There also you can find the skins of tigers, also a large skeleton of baby whale. Even there are lot of nature place to visit...

Learn science with fun This is a good place for kids to visit and learn science through practical examples. There are lot of physical concepts like pully, leaver, reflection etc explained with working modles. The Dinosaur park is fun place to visit for kids. I loved the mirrored maze which is fun to visit. Kids will surely love to visit this place.

There are few modles which have got damaged and the authorities should get them repaired as kids get sad if something is not working properly.

When I went the Taramandal also was closed due to technical issue.

One suggestion to the authorities. This place is ment for kids and you should show some nice videos in 3D show rather than the Dracula video. Kids should have fun and should not be scared of visiting such places after seeing such videos.

There is paid parking available and you will have to pay entrance fee. 3D show and Taramandal will be extra charge. Carry something to eat as the cafeteria does not serve much option.

Over all a good place to visit as kids will get to learn...
