=> Ekta Nursery is situated at Tyagi Ghat in Gora village near a small town Kevadia at a distance of 6km from Statue of Unity and 8km from Ekta Nagar (earlier known as Kevadiya) Railway Station, . => I opted “Khalwani to Zarvani Eco Tourism Bus Tour” package and this was one of the sites included in it. => Manufacturing process of various eco-friendly products like Bamboo Craft, biodegradable Areca Leaf Plates made from the leaves shed by areca palm trees, Organic biodegradable Pots, Bonsai, Ceramic Pots, Apiculture, Tribal Tea. Etc was manifested by the local women to us. => I also witnessed the Tribal Life of Gujarat and the most famous Kadaknath, a black colour chicken, with meat and blood black in colour. => There is a separate Bonsai-making training and display area here. => Ekta Nursery yields around one million plants including indigenous trees, shrubs, flowers and medicinal plants. => One small well is also there where one can make a reel or can click their photos. => There is one cafeteria where you can enjoy fabulous tribal dishes. I liked their Herbal Tribal Tea. => One thing I observed here is that the most of the activities were being carried out by women belonging to nearby villages only. => Apart from that, the picturesque beauty of the site will amaze you as it is situated on the banks of the Narmada river and in the valley created by Vindyachal and Satpura mountain ranges. => Timing: 9AM to 6PM. => Entry Fee: Adult: 30Rs & Kids: 20Rs (Tickets can be booked online using SoU app)

My Google Review # 000384 Ekta Nursery is a simple land parcel covered with huge variety of plants, which can be purchased along with other tribal-made accessories for our regular use. Well, the time to cover this point would be about 2 hours. There is no orientation video here, but the entry gate has all the details given. It was inaugurated by our PM Modiji and given open to public in October 2020. You may avoid the golf cabbie cart here as there is not much of a use for them. You can easily cover this nursery place on your feet. The entire place is laid with good plants, variety of plants and colours. They even have a greenhouse concept for orchids, tulips and some very special plants and flowers. There is a small purchase counter at the main gate to pick up any tribal manufacture franchise. Frankly speaking, we found nothing unique to buy as everything was available in our city too. There are ample facilities provided for drinking water and washrooms. Neat and clean. One advise would be to go before noon or after 3pm, so as to avoid the heat! Parking is allowed here & entry fee is nominal. Do not forget to purchase tickets from main counter. Debit and credit cards accepted. UPI will be starting soon. Date of experience : June 2024

I had such a lovely experience visiting Ekta Nursery in Ekta Nagar! This place is a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates nature and wants to explore something unique. The whole area is beautifully maintained, with vibrant greenery all around. It’s so refreshing to walk through the nursery, surrounded by a wide variety of plants and flowers.

What really made my visit special was trying the Tribal Thali along with Hibiscus Tea at their little cafe. The thali was delicious — so many authentic flavors packed into one meal, and the Hibiscus Tea was a delightful surprise! It had a refreshing, slightly tangy taste that perfectly complemented the meal.

The atmosphere here is so calming and inviting. You can feel the local culture and nature blending together in such a beautiful way. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure you have a pleasant experience throughout.

I’d definitely recommend stopping by Ekta Nursery if you’re visiting the area. Whether you’re a plant enthusiast or just looking to try something different, this place is worth it. Make sure you don’t miss the Tribal Thali and Hibiscus Tea — it’s a must-try!

Absolutely...
