Corona Optus — Local services in Gurugram District

Living in Corona Optus, Sector 37C has been an extremely disappointing experience. This society is plagued by several issues that make it far from livable.

Firstly, the pollution is unbearable. Towers C, D, and E suffer the most from the toxic air that drifts over from the nearby Kadipur Industrial Zone. The air quality is so poor that it becomes difficult to breathe, especially in the flats facing this zone. Residents are forced to seal all windows and doors and rely heavily on air purifiers just to maintain a semblance of indoor air quality.

Secondly, the location of the towers is highly problematic. All five towers, A, B, C, D, and E, have a direct view of the Kadipur slums. The sight from the balconies is distressing, with half-naked children playing on the rooftops at all hours, creating constant noise that disrupts any sense of peace. Loud music played by drunkards from the slums and frequent physical fights that are clearly visible from the balconies add to the discomfort.

The approach road from Hero Honda Chowk to this area is another major issue. It is riddled with potholes that feel like landmines, making the journey to and from the society a nightmare. During the rainy season, the situation worsens with waist-high water, turning the road into a hazardous, flood-prone area.

There is a small market within the society that caters to basic needs, good parks and open spaces, a small swimming pool that is once filled each year without cleaning, but these are few of the positives in an otherwise bleak situation.

Overall, Corona Optus is not a livable society. The high levels of pollution, the unsightly and noisy surroundings, and the treacherous approach road make it a place I would not recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful and healthy living...

Been staying here for 6 years now. +: Beautiful Central park, good floor plan, spacious rooms and balconies, gated society with app enabled security check, shoping complex inside premises. Nearby mall, grocery shops, hospital and schools. --: Maintenance is not worth the money and staff's conduct is not polite/helpful. Worst thing is the construction quality!
