Very huge Vegetable Market across 5 places I can say... Lingampally, Nallagandla, Chandannagar, RC puram & Madinaguda. Fresh veggies are available from morning 6 AM to 8 PM. All verities are available from retail to wholesale. Leafy Vegetables are little high priced. Coming to Fruits - We have close to 10 fruit stalls whole seel all seasonal and non seasonal fruits. Apples and Bananas are fresh and sold in high number. Apples are available round the seasons and looks fresh. It is located exactly 500 Mts away from BHEL circle and on the way to Nallagandla road. Most of the vendors have their own stalls and they are permanent allocated by Govt. Market will be shutdown on Amawasya and max vendors are not available and it is off for them. Ample parking is available across the market and have three roads connecting to it.

So I plan meals for 15 days and buy veggies and fruits for the same. I have Tupperware container in which i clean n dry and store veggies for using for 15 days at a time. I do have a cook but ensuring good quality veggies changes the whole thing.

Vegetable prices are highly volatile. Do check the same day price in near by super markets before you purchase here.

You get a mixture of good and bad parts when buying in large quantities without picking. Unless the price difference is not very high, it's not worth buying.

If you can buy from a farmer directly, there will be mutual benefit. It's rare for this to...
