This is my 3rd visit to Vellanki Madhuranagar and all the 3 times I had bad experiences and this time it was even more worst.
Considering my last 2 bad experiences, I so didn’t want to go.. but one of my friend from Blore urgently wanted me to buy sweets and parcel them so I was forced to visit..
Firstly, All the sales girls in the counters think that they owe the shop and behave as if they are doing us a favor or giving us sweets for free.. I visited Vellanki on Sunday November 4th 2018 around 3. 35 pm I reached out to 2 sales girls they just walk of as if they didn’t even hear me.. I rather say they pretended they are deaf!! When I was able to get hold of one sales girl she was like wait I will get back to you, it was almost 10 mins that I’ve been waiting ( not a busy hour nor it was crowded ) . I turned around and see that she is busy chit chatting with 2 other sales girls.
Having said that, I saw most of the sales girls responding too very bluntly or in a very frustrating tone…
Best part of this experience was when I went to the billing counter to make the payment ( my Bill # Ma/275 - Amount 3860 /- ) , I informed the person sitting at the counter that the sales girls don’t know how to respect customers and don’t even know how to talk & should be well trained… for which, he just gave me a smirk and processed my payment.
When I told him that I would be writing a review about my experience as he is being too very ignorant about it… for which he said.. “ yes, please do so as nothing is going to affect anyways “. ( yemi maaradu andi, yemianna raskondi
If only these reviews are being monitored and if only the owners are listening… I want to let you know that no doubt the sweets are very good, but if you don’t have a good trained staff with this kind of attitude, this can screw up anything, anytime…

I recently visited this store to buy a Dry Fruit gift hamper (5 different items) for a wedding gift purpose.
Out of the 5 items I bought 2 items (mishri and dry dates) outside store only after checking in at the reception.
Only after they said ok, I stepped out to get the 2 items which they didn’t have in store.
The sales professional who was handling my order asked me 3 times that how come I got things outside the store and getting them packed.
4th time, she came out and said they will charge Rs 100 extra as I got things outside.
The point here is only after with talking to store manager I placed the order.
Upon asking how is this fair ? The store manager had no answer !!
This experience at Vellanki is hands down one of the most bizarre and weird shopping experience even after shelling Rs 1300 for small gift hamper !
Not going to recommend to visit this store if you’re planning to buy something for an auspicious occasion, cuz
You don’t want to start anything auspicious with these extremely disappointing customer service.
Note that I paid separately for Tray, gift hamper and dry fruits in the store.
They will charge you plastic cover, flower and other non sense which you didn’t want even in...

The staff simply have absolutely No interest in letting the customers know what products they have especially for first time customers. We asked for Allam Mamidi expecting there would be Mango but there was no mango, when I phoned nd asked them they say I should know that. Come on how can they expect first time consumers to know what products they offer? Isn't it your responsibility to at least let us know what products you offer? I'm being giving lame excuses staff would be busy etc etc, I would never recommend anyone to fall for the hype as the backbone of any business is to first listen to customers nd understand their needs rather judging nd deciding what they want without understanding what a customer wants. I'll accept the human error which is obvious nd I'll let it go but Most importantly is how you deal with your mistake is important instead of blaming the customer for not knowing what a store offers. To conclude I can say I'll not recommend this brand as they neither have interest in explaining customers nor listen nor accept a mistake nor solve an issue rather only making money.
