An beautiful place, but please tread caution while taking the route as there are bushes on the side of the trail road which tend to scratch the vechicles. But once you reach it's just mesmerizing, the water tank is unmanned and there are no gaurd walls so people need to take caution, avoid this location if you are traveling with kids. If you are traveling from Bangalore, my recommendation is to first visit the Vani Vilasava dam and then come over here, both can be covered in a day's trip. Also there are no shops or food vendors for quite a distance (over 10km radius), please ensure adequate amount of food and water stocks. Avoid this place during mid day - best time to reach is by 4pm and enjoy the sun setting at the horizon of the water tank....
