PVR Naraina is one of those rare movie halls in Delhi that offers a classy cinema experience without the crowd. I’ve been there multiple times, and what I personally love is that it’s usually not very crowded—in fact, it’s often almost empty, which makes the whole experience feel quite exclusive and peaceful.
The overall vibe is pretty premium. The interiors are well-done, and there’s a certain good feel to the space the moment you walk in. The screens are decent in size and quality, and the sound system is impressive—it’s equipped with Dolby Atmos, so the audio experience really enhances the movie, especially if you’re into action or immersive soundtracks.
One thing I’ve noticed though—the staff tends to push food ordering quite a bit, sometimes a little too insistently. It can get a bit annoying, especially if you’re just there to enjoy a movie without any frills.
Here’s a tip from my side: if it’s not a houseful show, definitely buy your tickets offline at the counter. You’ll probably save on those extra convenience charges that online platforms usually slap on.
The washroom facilities are very clean and well-maintained, which is something I always appreciate in a theatre. Also, the complex has 4 different halls, so there’s usually a good variety of show options.
Overall, PVR Naraina is a great pick if you’re looking for a quieter, classier movie experience without the typical...
Read moreMy recent visit to PVR left me with mixed feelings. PVR has always been known for its excellent ambience and top-notch sound system, and I had high expectations when I went for a late-night show. However, I couldn't help but feel disappointed this time.
The first issue that caught my attention was the lack of air conditioning. The hall was uncomfortably warm, and it took away from the overall experience. The sound system, which is usually a highlight at PVR, was not working properly, and it impacted the quality of the movie. The poor maintenance of these key elements was quite surprising and disappointing.
Additionally, I noticed that several lights were left on within the hall, which was distracting and detracted from the immersive movie-watching experience I expected from PVR.
It's disheartening to see that PVR has raised ticket prices and food and beverage costs, but the level of service and maintenance has seemingly declined. This is a stark contrast to what I remember from a couple of years ago when PVR was renowned for its exceptional service and ambience.
While I still appreciate the brand's efforts to provide a comfortable movie-watching environment, I hope PVR takes note of the recent issues and works on restoring the high standards that it was once known for. In the meantime, I might think twice about returning for a movie at PVR, given the current...
Read moreThe place is awesome and really good. The food is also awesome. The AUDI - 1, 2 and 3 are so small having a capacity of approx. 50 persons. The AUDI 4 is so big and good. We booked the last row seats and the space between the last row is so small and uncomfortable. It's my first preference for a movie theater not just because it's near to my house, but because it's perfectly nice place for family time, as well as friends. Comfortable place, with comfortable seats, good food, amazing staff, clean washrooms, and good air conditioning in the halls. Like I said, perfectly nice place. It's one of the oldest multiplex cinema in the area. Parking facility is available just adjacent to the cinema complex. Subway and McDonald's are just few meters away from the location. Screens are good and chairs are comfortable but the best, auditorium are average in size and sound system is average. It was a good experience watching a movie. Has small but nice auditoriums with good sound. Paid Parking is available right in front but can be a problem sometimes. There are a few pocket friendly restaurants next to it as well. Perhaps the least famous of all the PVRs in Delhi, but simply loved my first experience here because of small auditorium with great aspect ratios, actually giving feel of watching in home theatre room, also some great...
