State Gurudwara — Local services in Punjab

I recently visited Punjab for the first time and that too in Kapurthala for SSB. As the place was new to me I didn't know much about hotels and rest houses. My friend who visited there earlier suggested me to live in State gurudwara. I gave it a try and I have no regrets at all... Such a beautiful place ❤️... Our generous sikh brothers are so helpful. Their behaviour is very nice.. langar food is also good... There are rooms as well as a dormitory like hall is available. For a room there are charges but for hall it's free of cost.. there's a huge park in the gurudwara premises and it is sooooo much beautiful ❤️... You can take evening walk as well as morning walk there for some relief...

Amazing place, open for all. Easily approachable from bus/railway station. It has lush green garden in its premises. Peaceful atmosphere. For candidates coming for their SSB at SCN, Kapurthala: You will face problem in finding rooms at reasonable rate in the city. Here in State Gurudwara, you can stay in common halls for no cost, or you can also opt for a separate room at low costs. Sharing can also be done amongst the candidates. Note: Kindly adhere to the rules/regulations of the religious place- Do not shave/trim your hair when inside the premises, do not roam around in shorts, respect the people, do not pick fights with...

I would like to recommend this place to stay especially if you are coming for SSB. Best facilities for everyone at free of cost. SSB Kapurthala is also very near to it and you can easily go by walk in morning itself. Before appearing for screening test you can also take bath so that you will feel fresh during test. For food you can eat in langar else market is just the outside of it you can roam. In the end I wish you all the best folk, go get screened in not only screen in...but get recommended too. Jai Hind!!
