Mr Chef Cooking Services — Local services in Uttar Pradesh

Hi, I started a café startup in 2022, for which I took services from Mr. Chef Cooking Services. I invested nearly ₹25 lakhs in the startup, and everything — the restaurant setup, menu design, staffing — was planned according to their food concept and strategy. They told me that I would recover the ROI within 2 years and charged around ₹3 lakhs as their consultancy fees.

Even after following everything according to their advice, we had to shut down the café within 6–7 months because the running costs were so high that I had to put in ₹1 lakh from my own pocket every month. The staff they arranged had such high salaries that there was no profit left for us. And after 2–3 months, they started calling back the staff to Capsaicin (another company or project of theirs).

So, what I want to say is — never take consultancy services from them. Because after helping you start your business, within 2–3 months they start calling back their staff. Then you are left to struggle alone. And if you ask them for staff again, they charge an additional ₹20,000 per staff member.

So overall, even if your business starts making a little profit, due to their strategies, you end up giving that profit to them. Please don’t fall...
