Jogighaat is a beautiful and lesser-known spot that feels like a hidden gem in the hills. The place is known for its scenic river crossing and the peaceful surroundings that make it perfect for a short break during your journey. The small bridge over the river adds charm to the location, and the sound of flowing water creates a very relaxing atmosphere.

It’s a good place for photography and to enjoy the natural beauty of the hills without the heavy tourist rush. The area is clean and gives a very raw, authentic feeling of village life. Spending some quiet moments here feels refreshing and helps you connect with nature.

However, basic facilities like seating areas, dustbins, or food stalls are limited, so it is better to carry your own water and snacks.

Overall, Jogighaat is a peaceful spot worth visiting for a quick stop or picnic on your way to nearby destinations. The natural beauty and calm environment make it a lovely...

We visited the Jogighat bridge as part of a sightseeing tour starting from Sittong - it took us a bumpy ride to arrive here and spend good time for 30-45 minutes or so, before proceeding to Rabindra Museum at Mungpoo.

We did not venture to the waterfall (which we heard is not far away), but spend some time on the bridge and then proceeding to the river bed. The experience was awesome, particularly observing a gentleman focusing on his recreational fishing, and a group of men starting to organize a feast!

The water is transparent like glass and very very cold even during this 2nd week of April. The river bed also had numerous butterflies of wide range of gorgeous colors.

There are few permanent and few makeshift stall selling basic food...
