Not worth the price.
A visit to this animal cafe costs you 150k per person and is limited to 5 minutes only of 'play time' with the capybaras.
So, here’s what you get for Rp150.000: ➡️Being in a small room with 5 other parties (total 12 people) for 60 minutes together with only 2 capybaras. ➡️Every party is only given 5 minutes of time to take pictures with the animals, then comes strict switching like at an artist meet and greet. ➡️Other than that, you get a tiny portion of chicken and rice served in thin plastic packaging that tastes and looks like it were from 'Program Makan Bergizi Gratis'.
If you wanna be in a tiny room of total 14 people (with staff) who all try to pet 2 (!) scared little capybaras, go there and enjoy!
Also they don’t have any calm background music whatsoever, so the space used looks and feels literally like at the waiting room in hospital. The guy who owns this cafe makes around 1,9 million per hour — cool for him, but not worth it for us as customers.
Update: I noticed the owner of this place reacted on this review in a very cocky and childish tone, not welcoming any feedback to improve his 'business'. Another reason not to recommend this place...
Read moreOverpriced food and drinks! The raccoon are cute, but they don't want to be cuddled.. they will bite if we cuddled them (my husband and the kid next to us get biten).
First, the cashier placement is very inconvenient. It's too cramped and exactly next to the door to go out. So, each time someone passes through, you'll need to move. I can't even order in peace. We spent too much time at the cashier that we cut our time 10-15 minutes with the raccoon. And yes, the time started exactly when you booked them. It doesn't wait for you to get to the animal first to count the 1 hour. So don't be late and prepare 15 minutes to order in a very cramped space (if you come with a big group)
Second, the food and drinks price doesn't make sense. They put the food inside a plastic container, per meal is 54-58K. For that price, we can't even get decent diningware? The size is very small!!! It was supposed to be chicken curry, but the curry is so small it felt like a sauce instead. 😩
Overall, while it's a unique experience.. but I don't think we will...
