Yes, there are "thermal" baths outside of Berastegi. After hiking the volcano you can take an alternate route and end up here. I took the local bus from the city. Cheap and easy and dropped me at the door. The baths weren't exactly as I'd imagined. The price was higher than I had remembered (about 4€?) and the bathrooms/changing rooms were mediocre. Smelled like urine and poo. The pools were ok, but people were smoking IN THE POOLS. Lots of families (I was there on Sunday afternoon, couldn't go another time!) and screaming children. The water tempature varies from 35c to 45c as we were told. Some pools have milky coloured water which were quite hot and emits a pungent sulphuric smell. The clearer ones were not so hot. There is a canteen that serves drinks, light home cooked food and instant noodles. The toilets were not well maintained. Still it was a good place to visit and soak your feet or take a dip in the pool to relax after a tiring day visiting Berastagi market...
