We were in Ireland in Oct of 2024. We drove from Galway to the Kylemore Abbey which to our dismay was closed due to weather. Little did we know that it was a blessing in disguise as on our way back we passed through Oughterard and since we had time to spare we stopped and visited Sullivan's Country Grocer. They were out of sausage rolls when we first entered but we opted to wait the 15 minutes for the next batch. Boy am I glad we waited because I don't think I've ever had a sausage roll as fabulous as the one I tried here. I still dream about it! I've tried arancini from about 4 different places in Galway City and they were no good, so I was delighted to find delicious ones at Sullivan's. And their roast pepper&feta sandwich, such a perfect combination of tasty bread, smokey peppers and soft cheese!
