This beach is tough to find as when you search Google shows the private beach for some reason and you may end up no where . But that doesnot make this beach any less beautiful . It has spectacular view and can watch the beautiful sunset . Be careful with jelly fish as it can harm the kids . Found many while my kids were playing in the sand .

Most beautiful beach and stunning views around. Mullaghmore has to be on the list, touring around the west of Ireland.

Beautiful beach, with lots of easy access, there's loads of parking spaces, when we were there it wasn't very busy there was a nice atmosphere without being too crowded. Beach was very clean there was no litter at all. Definitely worth a visit, it's in close proximity to Sligo and Bundoran

The Mullaghmore loop walk is 7.5km and takes around 3 hours. Though it usually takes us a lot longer with all the photo stops! So add extra if you usually do the same or like to spend a lot of time admiring the views.

More about the Mullaghmore Loop Walk Ro

At the start of the walk, you get lovely views of Lough Gealain, the lake which lies near the base of Mullaghmore. You’ll pass closer to its shores as you continue towards the mountain, too.

The route itself is pretty straightforward thanks to the markings on the rocks. They can be a little tricky to spot at times but just stop for a breather and scan the surroundings. You should be able to spot the bright colors. Enjoyed hiking this was my 1st one, but the view was...

Still the nicest beach to swim in.. No waves and it's just deep enough no matter how far you go out into it. Sand bottom and easy to find off the main road. Love this beach. Eater little chilly in Sept but nice to get out. Easy parking on the road with a few coffee shops and hotels with in 10 minutes walking. Park and walk to the beach with less than 5 minute hike. For those with children it's safe as no cars allowed on beach. It's locked off from traffic. Boats come into the harbour at the end of the beach and nice to watch all the different...

Lovely beach almost deserted on my visit. Tide goes out far enough but loads of space to walk. Very clean, a nice location to stretch the legs. Sand dunes all along 1side with lots of rabbits running about beyond the dunes. Plenty of parking might be different on a busy day. Beyond the head you can find rugged cliffs with waves crashing over them....
