Rossmore Forest Park — Local services in Monaghan Municipal District

Great spot to go with the kids, we went two days on a visit to Monaghan and the playground is good size and feels very safe and nothing the children can easily hurt themselves on. The zip line was a big hit. We did the orange loop walk both days and kids enjoyed it. There is a nice coffee shop also which is good. The pin for this location is located in the forest park, however the navigation brought me over a private road to someone's house/farm. When I checked again there was another Rossmore Forest Park pin located at Killydrutan, Killybrone, Co. Monaghan that brought me to the right location and carpark. A fantastic park with a. Variety of walks to choose from. There are good quality toilets and picnic area. However there are very few bins. We only found two on our walks with the dogs. The paths are well maintained and there are lots of interesting stops with art and horticulture and history...
