Roma Takeaway Springfield — Local services in South Dublin

On Friday 3rd of July, I ordered a pizza and chips and a fish box as part of the 2 for €13 meal deal, this is my usual order, HOWEVER this time the pizza came in a horrible condition, the box came with the lid caving in on top of the pizza, wasn't too bad until I opened it that's when things started going south, the pizza had been squashed and the cheese stuck to the lid of the pizza box, one side of the pizza was completely crushed to the side of the box, the cheese was really hard and chewy, the pizza dough was undercooked and also tough and was hard to pull the slices apart, also the sauce was sweet, in the fish box I kept finding little fish bones which I know the restaurant had no control of but I feel as though they should check before they put the batter around it, the chips were hard and even though I asked for salt and vinegar, I didn't get any on them, the only thing that came in proper condition was the 7-up, I also noticed that when ordering it I had no choice of no topping or extra mozzarella, so I had an idea that I would pick the pepperoni off when it arrived but the pepperoni was buried under the cheese, when I finally pulled it apart the cheese slid off, will not be ordering from here again, I also feel that you should be able to add an attachment of a photograph as the pizza was in such...

Manager is an absolute liar trying to scam you out of stuff you paid for.

We’ve been regular customers of Roma Takeaway for ages, always ordering our chipper from here, but after tonight’s experience we probably won't again

They forgot part of our order, which can happen — fair enough. When we called, they assured us it would be sent out straight away. Half an hour later, still nothing. We rang again, and this time they claimed they had delivered it and banged on the door but "no one answered the door." Total lie.

Sister told them she'd be checking our cameras, and suddenly they changed their story — no apology, no real explanation. Just a lazy attempt to cover up poor service.

Food is usually good, staff are usually very nice, HOWEVER we ordered food on Friday 10th April at 7pm. We rang at 8.30 askin where our order was, we were told it wouldnt be long and not to worry it would be delivered soon AND it wouldn't be cold !!! When I explained that we ordered 1 and a half hours ago, I was told we're very busy, I asked would it have been too much trouble to tell us that 90 minutes ago, she said that if she knew then she would have told me.
