The Merry Ploughboys Irish Night — Local services in South Dublin

Unfortunately, our visit was a bit disappointing. The chicken wings were overcooked and quite charred, which made them hard to enjoy. The chicken burger lacked seasoning, and the chips were underwhelming — they didn’t look fresh and were small, hard, and more like the leftover bits from the bottom of the fryer.

Service also left a lot to be desired. The blonde-haired waitress was quite rude and seemed visibly unhappy. When we asked for the bill, she banged it down on the table without a word. We waited a long time for someone to bring over the card machine, and in the end, we had to walk out to the front desk to pay. Eventually, the host came over, and we were able to settle the bill.

On a more positive note, the beer garden was lovely and definitely the highlight of the visit — a much better atmosphere...

Lovely Sunday beef. Being here a few times . Love it . But last Sunday staff a little all over the place without direction or a supervisor short maybe it seemed.

Had to ask lot of different staff for things we had already ordered. It wasn't that they ware not trying it just seems on organised /inexperienced But hopefully it was just a bad...
