Venchi Cioccolato e Gelato — Local services in Bologna

I am so disappointed about the shop keeper, where he initially trying to introduced and recommended us the good option of their chocolate purely because we try to buy the best chocolate for family of 4.

He basically grab handful of each (EVERY SINGLE) flavour (there are about 25 types) and put into the largest plastic bag they have in the shop... so there is no recommendation of selection, because he just put every flavours into the bag.... total cost of 97EURO.

We regretted of this purchased and felt this shop keeper is out of order. So I am strongly suggest any passengers travel to be mindful on this chocolate shop if you travel via Bologna (BLQ) Airport.

If the company looking to take this as positive feedback for improvement and have a general conversation with the shop keeper. The time of visit was 4pm...

Extremely expensive place and sugarless, bitter milkshakes and gelattos. The chocolates are not bad, but if you're not used with very bitter chocolate, don't even try to have anything here. They have cute gift boxes... but, again, don't ever gift their stuff to people who like sweet things, because everything is bitter here!!!

I was also surprised by my milkshake being hot, which makes no sense. And I don't know if the day I was there was just unusual and they were on "rush hour", but the customer service wasn't great and only one of their staff members...

Venchi produces some of the best chocolate in all of Italy and I would dare to say in the world.

Their shops are a joy for the eyes and the quality remains very high even in places that are notoriously bad, like airports.

Our ice cream was delicious and rich.

The server took all the care into making it look gorgeous and well balanced in terms of weight (a small detail that I have almost never seen anyone else spying attention to).
