Golf Club Punta Ala — Local services in Castiglione della Pescaia

After having played Punta Ala, i have to grade two different things. First the course: It's not the most challenging but considering that it is not an area rich in courses, it is absolutely recommendable. The design is varied and modeled nicely into the landscape, producing quite a few interesting looks. The sight from the seventh tee is breathtaking. The fact that the fairways and greens won't ever be in their best shape must probably be attributed to the climate and the fact there just aren't enough members or green fees sold to keep up. It is still absolutely playable (beginning of august). 4 stars for the course! Second the manager: I went to take a look at things with my girlfriend, who is from Italiy, two days before actually playing. The manager then told her in Italian, that the fee would be 70 Euro. When i arrived for my round two days later, alone, he appeared to have changed his mind and wanted 90, explaining hastily that the fee had increased to summer prices since, without being able to produce any evidence of that (there is none...). It's dishonest and i find it shameful. 1 Star for...

If you want a wonderful golf experience of 18 holes in the untouched Tuscan nature, the smell of pine trees, carpets of flowers, a view of the sapphire blue sea and an unforgettable pampering for your taste buds with exquisite, culinary specialties, I can recommend the Golf Club Punta Ala. The course is hilly, well maintained, the golf carts are impeccable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff and the owner of the course family deserve special praise. They really try hard and unobtrusively give you a feeling of being welcome in a homely atmosphere. The parking lot is large, has a few covered spaces and a charging station for electric vehicles. Rottura del crociato. Preferisco camminare in campo piuttosto che utilizzare il cart, purtroppo in una delle prime buche nel mio carrello si è sganciato il freno e mi sono mio malgrado lanciata nella rincorsa...rompendo il crociato. Nel momento in cui sono andata a riferire che chiedevo un cart poiché mi ero fatta male, sia tra le prime e le seconde buche, sia al termine della gara non mi è stato fornito il minimo supporto, anzi, mi sono sentita trattata come una poveretta che usava una scusa perché aveva giocato male. Una gestione di un infortunio veramente imbarazzante. Il campo è molto bello e ben tenuto ma l'atteggiamento generale con gli ospiti l'ho trovato fintamente cortese. Gli appassionati che viaggiano e frequentano i campi sono quelli che manterranno vivo questo sport in Italia, mi auguro che nei prossimi dieci anni la mentalità in qualche modo evolva oppure credo che mancherà un futuro a molti campi. Gli ospiti dovrebbero essere trattati quasi meglio dei soci, non peggio e come sorvegliati speciali.

Risposta alle vs osservazioni: il cart l'ho richiesto io e pagato dicendo appunto che mi ero infortunata, al pro shop dove direi staziona anche la segreteria. Non definirei infatti "giocare" quello che ho fatto dopo. E mi sembra ancora più assurdo che voi contestiate il racconto di qualcuno che dice che si è infortunato, comunque se interessati posso girare i referti e potete chiedere ai compagni di flight. Caduta di stile anche questa, invece che dispiacersi per l"accaduto, mettere in discussione...
