We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was exciting from the start when we were picked up by Davide on the skidoo and taken to a winter wonderland! Our room was of a very high standard, super comfortable, perfectly decorated with a first class view of the beautiful Val Duron covered in snow. Our hosts Giulia and Davide were very accommodating and a pleasure to chat to. The multilingual staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Great location, food, and private heated rooms with private bathroom. Not really a classic “rifugio”, more like a 3-stars hotel in a dreamlike valley. Very pet friendly, which we appreciated travelling with our dog. Hey, it’s not cheap either, but is fantastic for its location and it should be expected. We have stopped at this refugio four times over the years and every time the food has been fantastic. The yogurt, gelato or creme with berries has been very tasty.
