Most civilians were evacuated to various parts of the Austro-Hungarian Empire to escape bombings. This exhibit displays findings, weapons, uniforms and reconstructions -even of a trench- and you will learn the unique story of Lieutenant Jozef Kiss, a hero of aviation in times when airborne warfare was basically a duel on planes rather than bombing hapless civilians and strategic points.
