Patricia and Stefano were fantastic hosts and gave their all to make my 4-week stay an unforgettable time in wonderful Tuscany. The Fattoria is located in close distance to beautiful Cortona town, most of the exciting countryside and cultural highlights of the region can easily be explored in daytrips.||The appartment as well as the whole facility are well kept, clean and in very good condition, an extra mentioning goes to the swimming pool area - super comfortable pool furniture and a lovely place to relax and enjoy sunny days. Bedrooms and the living room area are air-conditioned , water supply and showers are in good shape and WIFI was accesible in all areas of the location.||Last but not least, make sure to ask Stefano for a selection of his home made range of typical Tuscan cold cuts and help yourself to the best basil from the trough next to the carport - it has the richest smell and the taste is...

Accommodatie|De appartementen zijn zeer volledig uitgerust en met zorg en smaakvol ingericht. In de keuken zijn de meeste benodigdheden aanwezig. Er is meer dan voldoende kastruimte en de bedden zijn prima. Een uitstekende centrale verwarming zorgt voor een aangename temperatuur in de wat koudere periodes. En de airco’s in de woonkamer en beide slaapkamers hebben ruim voldoende capaciteit om ook een hittegolf het hoofd te bieden. Er is veel ruimte rondom het gebouw met veel mogelijkheden om buiten te zitten. En daarnaast is er een apart veld met een groot prima onderhouden zwembad met ligstoelen en parasols. Op het terrein is er verder alle gelegenheid om niet alleen de zon, maar ook de schaduw op te zoeken. Wifi en TV ontbreken niet in dit luxe vakantieverblijf.||Hygiëne|De appartementen die we in twee opeenvolgende jaren hebben gehuurd waren brandschoon bij aankomst, evenals alle keukengerei en meubilair.||Duurzaamheid|De eigenaren hebben aandacht voor duurzaamheid, zoals bijvoorbeeld kliko’s voor gescheiden afvalverzameling en zonnepanelen op het dak.||Gastheer en gastvrouw|Stefano en Patrizia zijn zeer gastvrij en hartelijk en zorgen ervoor dat je je direct heel welkom en op je gemak voelt. Bij aankomst liggen pasta en saus klaar om een eenvoudige maaltijd te bereiden zonder dat je eerst naar de supermarkt hoeft. Ook een fles wijn ontbreekt niet en in de ruim bemeten koelkast staan een paar flessen water klaar. En er is koffie!||Omgeving|De accommodatie ligt een klein stukje buiten Camucia, dat je in 5 minuten met de auto kunt bereiken. Het stadje beschikt over diverse supermarkten en restaurantjes. Ook is er een treinstation van waaruit je gemakkelijk per trein naar bijvoorbeeld Florence kunt reizen. Fattoria del Nonno Berto is voorts een prima uitvalsbasis om ook andere bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken, zoals Cortone, Arezzo, Siena, het Trasimeense meer. ||Overige voorzieningen|De tuin met ruime grasvelden wordt zeer goed onderhouden en er staat een gemetselde barbecue voor algemeen gebruik.|Voorts is er een aparte wasruimte met wasmachine, ook voor algemeen gebruik en verder zijn er 3 mountainbikes aanwezig waarvan 1 kindermaat.||Fattoria del Nonno Berto is al met al een vakantieverblijf waar het buitengewoon goed toeven is en waar we beslist nog vaker naartoe zullen gaan.
