The venue is stunning, but horribly overpriced. Theyâve clearly maximised the geographical beauty of the location, but the overall experience is disappointing for the cost. Entry is âŹ15 per person for just half a day, yet the bathrooms are substandard â no toilet seats and wet floors. Towels are not provided. A basic pre-made salad, the kind youâd expect from a school canteen, is another âŹ15, and itâs not even prepared on site.
On top of this, my husband is gluten intolerant (not coeliac), and this was the only place in Italy where we were told we should have called ahead. At such a luxurious and high-priced establishment, we certainly didnât expect staff to be reluctant to even offer a simple salad. Everywhere else in Italy has been welcoming and accommodating, so this was a real disappointment.
For two people: entry (âŹ30), two salads (âŹ30), and drinks (about âŹ20) came to around âŹ80 â thatâs roughly R1,600 â and parking is extra. Staff were not particularly welcoming when I raised my concerns. For the money you pay, youâd expect a much higher standard. I do not recommend it. If you read other reviews, youâll see that thereâs a place across the way that offers a far better experience at a more...

Unfortunately, I canât understand the many positive reviews. Entry now costs are completely out of proportion to whatâs offered. Add to that an expensive parking fee. The costs are no where mentioned but at the netrance, which makes it not easy to leave once you made all the way there from the parking lot.
The beach area is tiny and completely overcrowded, with sunbeds packed tightly together, leaving little room to relax. There are far too few toilets for the number of visitors â a real issue, especially for families.
The snack bar is another letdown: overwhelmed staff, very limited options, and not even the basics like fries. Instead, they try to create a pseudo-luxury vibe that just doesnât hold up.
On top of that, thereâs no mobile reception â inconvenient and frustrating in this day and age.
Bottom line: This place is clearly designed to squeeze as much money out of visitors as possible, with no real...
Read morePositive: Lovely place! Nice beach with a wonderful view to the lake and the mountains. There is also an area where you can stay with your dog- all is very clean with some trees to relax in the shadow. There are two beaches: one with a pool and the baia della sirene. You can also find a parking place near the beach.
Negative: The area has own bus stops, but it's dangerous to get to the bus stop A back to Garda from baia della sirene: you have to walk about 100 meters on a street with much traffic, fast cars and no footpath. Not acceptable- you have to pay 18 Euro for one day on the beach and so there should be simple...
