This via ferrata might not be too challenging if you have previous climbing experience but i would not recommend it to new/inexperienced people. It is fairly long, about 3 hours, requiring at least an average fitness to be completed successfully (does have a route just before half way that takes you to rifugio Stoppani should you decide not to carry on). It is very exposed at moments, climbers need to be prepared to traverse or use ladders right above big drops. Climbing shoes are not required but I have seen quite a few people wearing them on the route, probably not such a bad idea. This via ferrata (also known as Gamma 1) can be done as training for the Gamma 2 ferrata, which takes you right to the top of the Resegone mountain. While Gamma 1 is rated "moderately difficult", Gamma 2 is rated as "highly difficult". Personally, i think the Gamma 1 difficulty rating is correct all considered but did not find the climb itself particularly challening even though i was wearing trekking shoes. Loved it though, lots of fun and great views. Just don't...
Read moreEasy ferrata with huge exposure. Almost zero technical parts, but a lot (a lot!) of ladders, and 2 bridges- one tibetan and one just a line over the abyss. The latter can be quite scary, but if you're familiar with exposure it's not that difficult. Definitely for people who don't have a fear of heights. I wouldn't give it D level, as the difficulty comes purely from exposure. The sign at the beginning of the ferrata states its 3h, but it's possible to do it in 2-2,5h. Giving 5 stars because long ladders and line bridge over the abyss give lot of excitement, and views...
