Very very bad experience. No clear instructions given before and after booking, What happened with us was we booked the property on booking.com. While booking it was not mentioned anywhere that car is must to reach to the property. We were supposed to checkin at 3 pm and the host gave us the check-in instructions 1 hr before our arrival. Google shows a driving route for walking. It shows 40 minutes of walk but the route is steep that we took more than 1 hr and 30 mins to walk to the property. Couldn't get any cab. So we had to walk. The route was driving route no walkway in most of the route. We somehow reached to the property. The property owner still didn't respond to our question on how to reach to the property. The worst part is no restaurant was ready to deliver food as it was very far. Next morning, We somehow got the shortcut to the mennagio town. While returning we tried to book cab, no cab took our ride. There was a reference of a taxi driver in the property (which i thought would be reliable as the property owner has recommended him). We called this guy, he said yes he will come to pick us up, he never showed we tried calling multiple times he turned his mobile off. Waited for him for around 2 hrs. It was 11:30 pm. The route we took in the morning was very shady, some patched didn't even had street lights, the private properties around that route had pets the dogs would come barking at us. Somehow managed to walk up at night. Thanked god he took us two ladies back to property safely. The property was so expensive they didnt even had basics like milk sugar. No dishwasher, dishwash liquid bottle empty. They asked us to clean and trash the rubbish. Dont know what the owner was doing just taking the money from people like us and asking us to do all the cleaning stuff. Atleast airbnb charges cleaning fees. Booking.com is the worst. You have to ask the owner to start the heating you cannot change the settings. television is local tv, no english channels available. I have given 2 stars just for the property was clean...

This was my second time staying here. The host Marcella was very nice, gave us a tour and recommended different spots for sightseeing as well as ferries to Bellagio. The place is very spacious and parking is right next to the apartment. The view from the balcony is amazing, as well as from the living room and the bedroom. The apartment offers everything you will need. Also the Pool is very close and also has the most amazing view. Thanks again and we will definitely visit again...

Amazing views overlooking Menaggio and Lake Como. Tranquil environment. Homely appartment with kitchen and great WiFi. Marcella is a gracious host, helpful and responsive communicator. Awesome large clean pool with diving board and sun lounges. A couple of great restaurants in close proximity. The downside is the distance up the hill if you don't have a car - it's possible to walk up walking paths but you need to be fit. ...
