I used to go to monte d’oro every month until 2 years ago. Recently I decided to go there and do some shopping. Except the free parking everything is awful. Overpriced, not many shops and nothing interesting to buy. The only shops that I really like are Geox and original marines, good promotions and nice stuff. But those are exceptions. They’ve put the baby train near some seats. I was there with my 1y old and and old, despicable lady started yelling at me because I set dow for a minute. Without explaining why, I gues the seats are there so that people can sit down but maybe that’s the case in a civilized world . There is no sign that sitting is forbidden. So this awful lady with some mental problems started yelling at me to get up if I don’t want to pay for a massage (the seats can give you a massage if you want) and the weird thing is that I Paid and it finished to massage just at the time when she started assoulting me. To conclude, I used to go there often as I said at the beginning, and spent really a lot of money but because they are treating customers with no respect I won’t be going there any more. I think Udine or Kopar are way nicer shopping centers to spend your money because eveone deserves to be treated with respect and a smile and in monte d’oro you want find any trace of...

Massive, industrial looking structure on the outside with almost no natural light or greenery indoors or out. The inside is very modern looking. There are 3 levels of parking but only one is ever open on the upper level. There are two levels of shopping, but most stores are on one level. Stores seem haphazardly organized and there are very few big name stores. A small H&M, a Decathalon, and a huge Ipercoop grocery store that doesn’t really have such great prices and charges €25 to sign up for their loyalty discount program. Lots of interesting antique shops and kiosks selling relics from the past, old coins, books, comics, etc. The upper level seems like a waste of space with only one shoe / clothing store (Pitta Rosa), a furniture store, and a strange beer garden with no customers on a Saturday. There seems to be a massive space being used as a community education center, which is nice. But not really something I would expect to find in a shopping center. No centralized food court, just haphazard cafes and pizza cut stores. This mall could be great… it just needs to be reconfigured and filled with more popular stores. Zara, Pull & Bear, Nike, Reserved, etc. A movie theater would also be nice and more natural...

Consider worthed the sales. Every year, the first days where prices reach -70% or more.

Technology and household products can be also be found under good discounts.

For the rest it does give the feeling of a "modern abandonware" maybe because it's built inside a big parking surrounding building or the location doesn't really attract a big crowd.

Sometimes the centre has some nice expositions going on that can even cover the main inner floor. Used items are also sold during weekends. And the cinema is not bad.

I suggest this place for some aimed shopping or occasional weekend walk since the mainstream (added sellers like as selling used LPs,CDs,books, or prepared little events, exibitions..etc) is held at that time.

In front of the mall there is currently a Puglia region home grown products seller with a big selection.

Of course you can find food and a few wc's and it is all hendicap...

The shopping centre is one of the big in trieste ! It’s located in the muggia small town from trieste city centre is about 10 mins drive to get there ! Many different shops there the parking is bigger then the actual mall inside ! In my opinion there must have many other shops the way it’s look big from outside there is also some restaurant bars and children playing area located on the first floor !
