Worst online transaction I've ever had. This is the worst online transaction I have ever experienced. Sure the prices are great, but there is no customer service. I originally ordered a month before a planned move so used my current address. After ordering they reached out and said it would ship in 4-6 weeks so I immediately requested them to update my address. No response. Emailed 10 times, called their shop in Italy 5 times. Finally got someone to respond via email "we ship to xx new address." So the machine gets shipped, to the wrong address. I call and call and email and try to get the address updated no response. Finally get UPS to redirect after 10 calls to UPS. Machine arrives completely destroyed from poor packaging. I file a charge back with the credit card company. Espresso Coffee shop takes 2 weeks to respond to my damage claim. It was just an ABSOLUTE MESS. After 10-20 hours of my wasted time with UPS, the credit card, Espresso Coffee shop, I finally got them to send me a return label to return and they weeks later they refunded me. NEVER would recommend this place to anyone. It's not worth saving a few hundred bucks. Ordered from a well known US store in seattle and had a fantastic experience. Well worth paying a few bucks more.

May 6th: Ordered May 7th: Notified 2+ weeks shipping delay May 7th: Requested confirmation of exact shipping date. No response. May 11th: Requested change of shipping address via email. No response. May 11th: Called their shop in Italy, no pickup. May 19th: Called their shop 3 times, no pickup. May 20th: Again, requested change of shipping address via email. Called their shop in Italy, no pickup. No email response. May 21st: Finally got someone on the phone in Italy, they claimed to update my shipping address and sent an email confirming change of shipping address. May 26th: Notified order was shipped (to wrong address). Immediately requested stop shipment and update to correct address via email. No response. Called their shop in Italy 2 times. No pickup. May 27th: Called their shop in Italy 2 times. No pickup.

Is this the kind of customer service you want...

I consider myself a very cautious person, supported by my in-depth research and performing multiple vetting processes for any online merchants especially when the seller is located outside of the United States. Since I have vacationed in Italy numerous times mostly in the Sorrento/Positano/Amalfi Coast/Cinque Terre regions with my family, we are in love with the friendly people, delicious food and beautiful country. It is not surprising that I love espresso and anything hand crafted Italian (including German cars & Swiss made products). So, looking for a reputable online merchant who is honest, knowledgeable, responsive, and customer focused are some of the important things on my list. I am comfortable confirming the people who work at espressocoffeeshop.com are the perfect example what great reputation looks like; resulting in exceeding my very high expectations consistently since I first reached out to them.

After 2 important online transactions that included La Marzocco, 2 Eureka (Atom 75 & Oro Mignon XL) and Motta purchases, I am impressed by the accurate availability of their wide selection, their responsiveness to my questions, and super fast shipping. My 2 Eureka grinders took 2 business days to be delivered. I am equally happy with their responsiveness to my previous follow up emails after the sale. Throughout both purchases, they were professional and respectful during our interactions over emails.
