Wonderful strawberry picking experience! Even though they said only a few varieties were left, we still ate enough to almost make ourselves sick in the 30 minute window. Condensed milk is for sale at the counter, but what really sets this place apart is the fact that they also sell warm chocolate (like fondue) to dip your strawberries in! Definitely worth the price, I'd go again in a heartbeat! One word of advice - the plants get picked over fast, so earlier is better. That said, even though we arrived later in the afternoon we still were able to eat our fill of ripe berries! Read moreIt was awesome! It was all you can eat. And even though it was cold and windy the greenhouses made it was so warm. And there were so many different kinds of strawberries from all over Japan. The staff was very clear in giving us instructions. There was a locker to put our things, and they gave us a tray and some condensed milk.
It was so much fun walking and picking among the bees. Beware if you’re allergic, each greenhouse has its own beehive, but they’re not so big. And they will not bother you at all although you might feel a tad intimidated. But don’t worry they are busy working.
