Something that you don't witness every day in Japan. This only comes to light in the coming months heading into winter. I was fortunate to have this opportunity to experience something unique despite enjoying a wonderful dinner earlier.

Having finished dinner, we wandered to a nearby lighting illumination called the Tokino Sumika Illumination Japan, an enchanting winter experience that captivates visitors with its breathtaking light displays. My family and I have been visiting Gotenba regularly since 2008 and have stayed in the Tokinosumika resort several times. The illumination started off small, but we have watched it grow and improve over the years. It is really beautiful and adds to the romantic feel of the area. They have illumination longer than most areas too. They even have a summer display which runs until the end of August.
