Komagatake Chojo Station — Local services in Hakone

Part of a day tour from the cruise ship, we should have visited the other ropeway that takes you over the lava pools, but the fumes were too bad so it was closed. We were therefore taken up the Komagatake ropeway to the Hakone Shrine at the top. Very smooth ride with glorious views over the lake and surrounding hills on the way up. The top ropeway station is a concrete monstrosity but serves the purpose, somewhat a blot on the hill top. However, when you get out and walk around you can see Mount Fuji in all the glory. We did have a great day weather wise. But no snow on Mount Fuji, just the occasional cloud passing over the top for effect. You can walk on further up and visit the Hakone Shrine.Must take...

もう列前方に並んでて、後ろから出て来たから近くじゃみれないなーと思っていたら‥‥走って来た！お見送りに走って(たぶん)来た！着ぐるみ一人で！ 年甲斐なくテンション上がりました。中の人ありがとうございます。いや、ありがとうコマちゃん。
