I came during an off season in March. The snow has faded and the flowers and grass have yet to arrive.
But when a place is beautiful, even when it is not at its prime, you can see the potential and even here, as I saw nothing but clouds, small amounts of snow, and dead grass, I could see the beauty that has yet to come.
The views are breathtaking as you can see the ocean from up here and if the weather was perfect, you could even have seen a snow capped Mt. Fuji.
It's quite nice and although there weren't many tourists here in my area because of the season, I could only imagine the crowds during peak cherry blossom season or peak snow season.
