Hakusan Murodo Visitors Center & Lodge — Local services in Hakusan

A big mountain hut located just 30 min below (2,450m altitude) the main peak of Mt.Haku. Can accommodate up to 750 people. Toilets are renovated in 2020 and all flushable.(You can flush toilet paper in a mountain!) This is definitely one of my favorite mountain huts.

The shop sells all sorts of goods from drinks and food to t-shirts and towels. Cash and PayPay accepted. The shop closes around 18:30-19:00 depending sunset as night hike is not officially allowed in Mt.Haku.

If you plan to stay for a night, check-in before 16:30 is recommended. Also, the fee has to be paid by cash. (Only the shop accept PayPay)

加賀白山の尾根伝いに歩いて行くと、白山室堂ビジターセンターに着きました。 下山ルートを聞くだけだったけれど、かなりの熱心さで教えて頂きました。 以前に１度宙を舞った経験があったから、一層私たちも熱心になって聴きました。 上級者向けのコースから初心者向けのコースと色々あって安心して下山ルートを選択することができました。 時間と登山経験から、われわれが選んだコースは、中級者向けのコースでした。 装備もしっかりしてるし、上級者向けでもいいかな⁈ という意見がある中、お互い家族のある身で、無理して下山ルートを選択するよりも、気楽なルートです下山した方が良いという意見が３対１で決まり、われわれが選んだ中級者コースは他にも中級者コースがある中でも楽な方だったので、霧が出ても少し待っていると、晴れ間が見えたことで安心・安全に下山できました。 上級者向けでも良かったというヤツも、ひとりいましたが、装備品の中でも靴やズボンなどを見て、センターのスタッフさんが中級者コースで下山してみて、楽だと思ったら次回は上級者向けのコースにすれば良いと思います。 と言ってくださったことに感謝して、次回登山した時には上級者向けのコースで登山して下山しました。 室堂ビジターセンターのスタッフさんたちに...
