I had a great experience with this company! The food not only looks good, but tastes amazing! I had to force myself to not eat everything in one sitting (I bought a LOT). I just made a 2nd order and I’m looking forward to trying all the different items they offer. They have a comprehensive and easy-to-use site with reheating instructions. I followed it to a ‘T’, and it was better than I could imagine. The only negative I experienced was not knowing the estimated delivery date. I got an email confirming my order and one when it was shipped. In the “shipped” email, they had tracking info. But I wanted to know which day it would arrive. I was very anxious (and excited) to receive my order. But other than that, I am very satisfied! 🥰

Now, thankfully, I have Meat Express and their frozen burritos and quesadillas that are delivered frozen. The food is so delicious and convenient. I'm especially fond of the "wagyu" burritos. Fantastic! The meat used in all of their products seems to be only the best cuts. My freezer is stocked now so I'm ready for friends and family to drop by!

Update :

Knocking off two stars for a mediocre second experience with Meat Express. My second order arrived two days later than expected because the Sagawa address label was sloppily written by Meat Express to the extent that Sagawa couldn’t read it.

I like these burritos, but was disappointed with the customer service response, which didn’t include an apology and seemed blasé.

Ordered their frozen delivery burritos. They are truly delicious and some of the best Mexican food that I have had during my 10+ years in Japan. We will be ordering again.

If you haven’t had a tamale in years this is the place to buy them! I haven’t had a tamale in over 30 years! I was super excited to finally see tamales sold in Japan. I will introduce tamales to my Japanese friends!! I ordered 4 different tamales 🫔 The jalapeño one was very spicy but tasty, the chicken tamale was a little bit dry but still tasty and the pork tamale was delicious the spices were very nice but not a lot of filling in the tamale unfortunately. I’ve sent the link to many of my friends. I will definitely order more tamales in the near future. I hope they restock the supply of all the different flavor tamales because I will definitely order all of them! I also ordered the corn tortillas but I haven’t tasted them yet.
