Beautiful beach and a surfers' favourite spot in the morning. The nearby parking is actually private to the inn, so we just parked at the Family Mart for a short time just for pics. If you can catch the time of day and the weather, the waterfront mirrors the sky (see pics) and you can be creative with various poses. The name suggests Golden Beach - and under sunlight you will see a lot of glitters just from the sand... maybe thats why!? Have fun!

Heaven on earth. If you get there before sunrise on a weekday it's amazing, you get the place to yourself. Weekends the surfers flock but if that's your thing all the better. Do yourself a favour and get some Tai Chi or Yoga in with the sunrise, your soul will thank you for it

Great waves, surfing is fun and rental is nearby! 10/10! 😍Also such soft sand and no trash crate for Japanese beaches which are often stones and quite littered with garbage… 😢 this place is a GEM!!! ✨💎✨

5 star as its a majestic spot and how easy it is to commune to.

4 star as per surf condition on the day in Sept 2019.

Visited once only - 17-18C water during fall. Beach break, Chest high, choppy, on-shore E wind and 1-2m E swell. Fun long-board waves for me as per my fitness level, but a lot of short-boarding shredders on the beach. 10 bodies in the water at max

This place is a great surfing point and the guest house staff are awesome they took me in from the monster Storm in 2017 I was drenched they are local's and have great morals not like pumping surf guest house who shunned me away as I just wanted some shelter from the...
