PLEASE READ . I had the opportunity to book the at Katsuura for one night (the whole month was fully booked so get in early folks) and will definitely be back to book a whole week. This much deserved property gets 5 stars for it's incredible execution on both design and energy. Really I can't begin to rate this place any higher. The owner has done a splendid job on creating a sacred space that also keeps the Japanese clean and hospitable aspect. All the property is equipped with great amenities and devices such as speakers, projectors, coffee grinder, Balmuda technology and high powered WEBER BBQ. The highlight of corse is the private Sauna with 2 outdoor baths. We filled one with ice cold water and the bigger bath with the hot natural spring onsen water. It is paradise for sauna and bath lovers. Perfect size for a full group of friends to alternate and enjoy. As for the location, it was easy enough to find, while also being close enough to the big city/airports. You can drive through the local roads and be pleasantly surprised with sacred Chiba temples and castles and bush hiking. Rain, shine or snow. This place and area is perfect to enjoy the nature. The sound of the waterfall is healing in itself. You look upon bamboo forests and Japanese forest while you stay. Enough parking for up to 4/5 cars even! There is 3 beds technically that at least 2 people can sleep plus futons for extra guests. Sleepover style, the second room had tatami floor which was fun for the acoustics and UNO games. High recommend for any type of trip, especially groups looking to get out of the city for a small getaway. Furby's totally allowed. Thank you for having me...

一泊十万超えなのに、全く価格に見合わない旅行となりました。。 こもれるのは良いとして、まず、この猛暑なのに、お部屋の一面が全て窓なのに、カーテンが出来る部屋は、和室一つしかないです。それも、斜光ではない、ロールカーテン（他も全てそうです） ただ、全面ガラスなのに、窓がめっちゃ汚くて掃除もまともにされておらず、これもあり得ないです。

大勢での使用を考慮した一棟貸しかと思いますが、それにしては、クローゼットがどこにもなく、衣類を収納するような箪笥さえ置いていません。

カーテンがないので、到着後から深夜まで、各部屋の冷房をmaxで付けていても、汗だくでした！！ こんなに暑い宿は、生まれて始めて。 カーテンがないので、当然休暇なのに、ゆっくりはしていられず、4時台からまぶしくて、起こされます。

タオルも1枚しかないし、このお値段でパジャマもないって、、、女性用のアメニティも何もないです。

スリッパも布製なので、シミが大きく付いていて、汚らしいし、 椅子もそう。ファブリックなので、シミがめっちゃ付いていて、不潔です。

ＴＶも主賓室に小さいのが一つで、移動できると書いてありますが、いちいちliving...

こんなオシャレな空間がまさか山の中にあるなんて！！！ 到着が19時頃で暗くなってしまい不安でしたがGoogle MAP通りで無事到着。 キャンピングカーで行きましたが駐車場スペースも広くてらくらく転回できました。 玄関から中に入ると目の前の大きな窓の向こうには光に照らされた山の木々たちが見えて非日常空間がスタートしました。 ゆうに30人くらいは入れるほどの大きくそしてオシャレなリビングはとても気持ちが良いです。 リビングからテラスへ。 テラスを進むと絶景の温泉、サウナ、水風呂があり、夜も朝も整いさせていただきました。 本格的なサウナです！ お風呂も温泉を引いているそうで肌がツルツルになりました。 食材をたくさん買っていき料理しました。調理器具、食器類は充実しています。 コーヒーメーカー、オーブンもありました。 洗濯機、乾燥機も付いているので出来るものなら連泊してみたいです！ また是非行かせていただきたいです！
