Maiko Station — Local services in Kobe

It's one of my personal favorite places. This is a station on the JR Sanyo Main Line (Kobe Line), and if you want to see Akashi Kaikyo Bridge up close, this is definitely the station. Local and rapid trains stop.

There is a commercial facility/condominium called Tio Maiko, and locals seem to do their daily shopping here. There is also an express bus stop, which also runs from Awaji Island to Shikoku. It would be great if the trains were connected by a bridge like the Seto Ohashi Bridge, but I think it's a bit questionable in terms of demand. Anyway, I like the place because I can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the ocean clearly, and I want to live there! It is a perfect place for those who love the sea, fishing, and bridges. Isn't it okay to move to Shonan? Within commuting distance to Sannomiya, Akashi, Himeji, Nishinomiya, and Osaka! ! I can go to Kyoto, but I think it would be a bit tiring to go...

The station is okay, but step outside and check out the view. That alone makes this station worth a stop and looksy. There's a strange garden area that you'll walk through that leads to the bridge view. Take the tour of the bridge; it's cheap and had great views.

Such a wonderful location. Stop here to visit the Kobe side of Akashi Kaikyo bridge/beach. The station is extremely beautiful, clean and peaceful. Do grab some nice donuts from the...
