Good place to visit for some tranquility, I really enjoyed having a beer and some snacks at the little bar that is located at the falls, I really suggest you ignore the tourist prices at the top of the hill and go to this local spot which has been there since 1915, really lovely lady who was there, very friendly and such a nice view with drinks...

Really not much more than a rest stop. Very peaceful and a good spot to sit. These falls are a bit underwhelming but still provide a good backdrop to a quiet meditation. This is the "female" falls, perhaps because of the smaller size. The walk up to the "male" falls is quite steep...

Beware adventurer as there are many stairs ahead before reaching the waterfall! They ain't so high, but damn are they steep and numerous. Is it worth it though? Definitely. The waow effect when you turn around a fly of steps and see the waterfall is crazy, one of the best...

“Nunobiki Falls” doesn’t refer to a single waterfall, but rather a group of four waterfalls: Mentaki (Female Waterfall), Tsuzumigadaki (Drum Waterfall), Meotodaki (Married Couple Waterfall), and Ontaki (Male Waterfall). Tsuzumigadaki is located in a narrow part of the river, and when the surrounding plants are dense, the waterfall can be a little hard to see. It is called “Drum Waterfall” because the sound of the water falling resembles the beating of a drum. 「布引の滝」は1つの滝を指すのでは無く、「雌滝（めんたき）」「鼓滝（つづみがだき）」「夫婦滝（めおとだき）」「雄滝（おんたき）」の4つの滝をまとめて「布引の滝」と呼ばれています。 この鼓滝は川幅が狭く草木が茂っているときは滝がやや見難い位置にあります。 滝の落ちる音が、鼓を打つように聞こえることから、「鼓滝」と呼ばれるようなったそうです。
