Koto no Hako Kobe — Local services in Kobe

UPDATE: The 7-11 convenience store on the 3rd floor has just closed down. Shops continue closing up but not many new tenants moving in. The west side of the ground floor is now occupied by medical offices and a pharmacy. On the 3rd floor there is a Kobe beef specialty shop (with a seating counter to sample products). Still no new restaurants. Remaining holdouts are shabu-shabu, coffee, tofu, kushi katsu, Kobe beef and Indian. The hotel upstairs has some nicer up-market choices. There is a supermarket and a 100 yen shop in the basement level. The east half of the first floor is completely deserted except for a small seating area with drink machines.
