TANUKI MURA — Local services in Koka

This is a small “village” or to me it was more like a stop to charge gas to your car is a small spot where you can see a lot of different tanuki or raccoon, I think you can get there by train I went by car and they have this free parking lot, toilet and food area, you can have delicious meal there and also do some fishing ( looks like) from Osaka is something like 1hr and 30 min drive, it can vary depending on the route you decide to go, if you decide to go and visit I suggest you to have one more place to visit around that area because it won’t take you more than 30 minutes to finish your tour...

Must stop 🛑 store to see the giant tanuki. This is one of the first places you can visit after exiting from the highway! As you drive further down the road, you will see many more shops with so many different types of...

巨大たぬきオブジェ

施設入口には“日本一”とも言える巨大狸の陶器がドーンと構え、フォトスポットとしても大人気です 。

陶芸体験コース（要予約） • 電動ロクロコース（80分／税込1,650円〜）：本格的な轆轤体験、初心者でもスタッフが指導 。 • 手びねりコース（60〜90分／税込1,760円）：小さい子どもでもOK、粘土800gで器作り 。 • 絵付けコース（30〜40分／税込770円〜）：湯のみ・狸・マグなど素焼き陶器に絵付け。お持ち帰り可能 。 • 狸づくりコース（90分／税込2,750円）：型を使ってオリジナル狸制作 。

焼成後の陶器は約2〜3ヶ月で完成、施設受取または配送が選べます 。

ショップ・飲食 • 信楽焼の狸や食器、茶器、ガーデン陶器など充実の品揃え 。 • カフェ「AOIKUMA」（11:00～16:00）や地元食材を使った食事・BBQプランあり 。
