From purchasing tickets at the terminal shortly before sailing while enjoying seafood noodles at the in-house restaurant, the whole experience was immaculate! The 1-hour journey was even more enjoyable thanks to the amazingly sunny weather and calm sea – getting on and off the ferry was a breeze too! You have to wait unnecessarily 50 minutes for the only bus line that can take you out of ferry terminal. Customer service didn't inform (offer) me that is possible to book a direct after-ferry shuttle that can take you immediately and quickly from ferry terminal to Kumamoto.
