I went with a mix of family and friends. We were very kindly shown to our room where we changed for a visit to the onsen. The water was truly good, with plenty of minerals. In the bath they only had traditional amenities so you should be used to the bathing ritual. After being thoroughly cleansed and relaxed we went back to the room to find the table set for dinner. The food was a GREAT mix of local seafood and traditional rural cooking, very well prepared and displayed. Having enjoyed the food, we went down for another bath and when we returned they had set our beds. The cooked dishes were prepared with too much soy sauce. However, the staff's friendliness made up for the lack of charm. The vibe is good and the price to value is outstanding! Food is outstanding and I can tell the chefs take pride selecting ingredients and preparing the food.
