We visited this onsen sand bath house in the evening after a day of snowboarding and skiing. For 1,000 yen, we purchased a ticket that included a meal and access to the bath spa. Even if you don’t plan to bathe, there’s an entrance fee to enter the facility.

🍝 Meal Experience The food options are budget-friendly, with meals averaging around 700 yen. Despite the affordability, the quality is decent.

Meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen and served instantly on a tray. With the 1,000 yen ticket, we had a choice of three meal options: ramen, soba noodles, or curry rice.

☺️ Onsen Experience Upon reaching the onsen area, the facility is segregated by gender into male and female sections.

You first enter a locker area to store your belongings and undress, followed by a shower area before accessing the baths. Shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, and cotton swabs are provided, but you’ll need to bring your own towels or purchase them at the counter if necessary.

In the women’s section, there’s a small Jacuzzi, three indoor pools, a sauna, and an outdoor bath that offers beautiful views of the snow and trees. We spent about an hour enjoying the relaxing and serene environment.

🧖‍♀️ Post-Onsen Relaxation After exiting the bath, there’s a cosy community area where you can relax or wait for family and friends before leaving.

💧Conclusion If you’re near the ski resort, this onsen offers a perfect post-exercise healing experience, combining affordable meals and a...

By far one of the best onsens i’ve been at. Cost for 1 adult is 600 yen and there’s an onsen+meal deal for 1000 yen only. A restaurant there serves delicious Japanese food and they also have some merchandise where you can purchase farm to market vegetables as well as local delicacies. Two massage chairs are available on site for only 200 yen for 15 minutes and also a place where you can lay down and relax and have a chat with your friends. This public bath house offers 4 hot bath tubs and 1 cold plunge with temperatures ranging from 7-12c. 1 yuzu onsen, calm water, and bubble/jacuzzi as well as an outdoor hot spring. Temperature of these hot spring ranges from 40-41c and others are from 41-42c. There’s a sauna too. Inside the changing room, you’ll find personal lockers that cost 100 yen, weighing scale, hair dryer and...

I was deeply disappointed by my experience at this establishment. Despite being in Hokkaido, a region known for welcoming tourists, I encountered clear discrimination based on my nationality. An elderly staff member treated me rudely and asked me to leave immediately after finishing my meal, even though the place was not crowded. This behavior was both unwelcoming and unprofessional, completely contrary to the hospitality Japan is known for. As a foreign visitor, I expected to be treated with respect and equality. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I cannot recommend this place to...

食事のみでレストランを利用。 近隣の飲食店が1000円を越える中、リーズナブルな価格で食べられるので、とてもありがたい。

The facility itself is nice and offers a relaxing onsen experience, but our visit during the Obon period was quite noisy. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant encounter with one of the reception staff who seemed a bit rude. It felt like she judged us for being foreigners, assuming we had tattoos, and immediately questioned us about it—even though none of us did. This was very surprising because we’ve visited numerous onsen facilities around Hokkaido and this was the first time we experienced something like this.
