6月6日(木)お昼前に天気が良かったので電車とバスで行きました。初めての長野駅と戸隠でした。長野駅前から奥社入り口バス停まで1時間ちょっと位でしたが、行きは空いていて数人しか乗車してなくて、良かったです。帰りは満席でしたが、途中バス停から乗車も座れました。途中の車窓からの眺めが良いです。バス停からは徒歩片道約40分位ですが、真っ直ぐな参道ですが、結構な距離です。平日でしたが、天気が良く、かなり沢山の観光客が途切れる事なく歩いてました。入り口バス停近くに食事ができるお店と駐車場があります。途中まではまっすぐで平らな参道ですが、最後は登りがきつくなります。珍しい花や昆虫も見かけました。帰りは緩やかな下り坂で大分楽です。バス停を降りてすぐに鳥居がありそこから森に入ると鳥の大合唱が蝉の鳴き声のようで、凄い音でした。戸隠神社五社のうち、九頭龍社と奥社が同じ敷地に隣接してあります。ガイドマップに奥社から鏡池に通じる山道がかいてありますが、危険な感じがしたのでバス通りから坂を降りて歩いて鏡池に行きました。奥社入り口バス停から少し降りてきたところに中社へ続く林道もありましたが、かなり距離がありそうでした。バスは一時間に一本位なので歩いて鏡池入り口バス停まで行きました。駐車場は奥社入り口バス停脇にあり平日のためか、空いてました。鏡池も駐車場がありどちらも無料みたいな感じでした。バスは行きも帰りも空いてましたが、参拝客はかなり沢山訪れてました。五社めぐりは徒歩で鏡池への往復で時間がかかりましたので、奥社と九頭龍社と中社で2箇所三社で、善光寺に寄るため残り2社はパスしました。今度は戸隠そばを食べに行きたいと思います。平日で休みの蕎麦店もありました。バスの車窓からの眺めがとにかく素晴らしいコースです。一つ先のバス終点の高原、キャンプ場は星が綺麗な所で有名みたいです。参道沿いに小さな小川が流れていて、ニッコウキスゲみたいな小さな花が参...
