Price for adult JPY250 each (some website sources showed outdated JPY200). Accept Paypay or other forms of mobile payments, or cash.
Of course it’s more pricey than foot baths (typically free or JPY50 each in Japan), but well worth the price in my opinion especially if you’re around the area anyway.

Overall a clean, quiet, and peaceful environment. Nice architecture both for the interior and exterior.
A range of temperatures to choose to dip in — ranging from 38 degrees to 42 degrees, so pertains you can find one which suits your liking.
I like the idea of different shapes and sizes of pebbles in the path for you to try the “foot point massage” to tackle various health issues. There’re handrails. But you should still exercise caution to avoid slipping while walking through the hot water.
You can bring your own small towel or you can buy at a small price there.
Plenty of lockers to store your shoes (at the entrance), and other belongings (in the changing room).
Bathroom has no soap, but there are many hand sanitizing stations in the building, as you’d expect in Japan anyway.
Don’t miss the natural “mineral water” coming from the hot spring, outside the main building — you can try some. It’s quite hot, so be careful though.
All the signs in the building are exclusively in Japanese. But you can guess the meanings from the pictures you can’t read any. Otherwise your translator is your friend. It’s not very large and there’re signs everywhere, so you wouldn’t get lost for sure.
The water fountain in the center ejects water every 10 minutes like a blowhole.
There’s music playing in the background too. Therapeutic to the...
Read more♨️ This is a foot only public hot-spring for people to visit. An entrance fee was required! (I forgor the amount 🫠) ♨️
At the entrance you are required to take off your shoes. There are lockers after you pay the fees, for boys and girls to store your items before entering the foot hot-spring.
The hot-spring is split into two sides, one side apparently more slippery than the other, I didn’t feel the difference though.
You can sit or walk in the hot-spring covered paths with different types of stones embedded on the paths. It is said that by having your foot massaged and hot-springed, you can have better health!
While you are sitting, you can look out for the central geyser that blasts three burst of hot spring water between the two walkable hot-springs. The blasts occur every :05 minute. Which means 12:05, 12:15, etc,.
Again there are goods of onsen musume, 温泉むすめ. Currently, in February 2025, there is a towel (400円) and an acrylic stand(1200円) of Shiobara Yaya, 塩原八弥. Both are themed around the foot hot-spring.
There is an also a 1:1(i think) size cardboard cut out of Shiobara Yaya, 塩原八弥 at where you put your shoes. Please take many photos with her 🙏.
If you are interested in visiting, either bring a towel, or buy one because your foot will be very cold when leaving the hot-spring! 😂
Very recommend 👍 Visited on...
Read moreWe went here yesterday, one hour before closing time. It's a nice and relaxing experience after a day of visiting around. The ambiance is very nice and clean. Divided into two sections where water temperature gradually rises. The area from the right of the lobby has lower temperature while the one one the left has higher. The walk path is also decorated with stones, varying in size and area where the temperature rises. It's a nice foot massage. There are also benches where visitors can sit while their feet are dipped into water....
