「伊豆七不思議」の一つであり、周辺が海に囲まれているにもかかわらず、ここにだけ淡水が湧くというとても不思議な池です。駐車場からは数分歩いていかなければいけません。

この周辺はダイビングで有名なようで、ダイバーさんがたくさん潜っている光景を目にします！

神社自体は無人のようで、入場料として100円を払う必要がありますが、無人のため自分で投入口に入れる感じです。ちなみに、入場は日の入りまで。

池には鯉がたくさんいて、エサは自動販売機で購入することができます。鯉は「人間＝餌をくれる存在」と思い込んでいるため、動くとついてきますwww

池は濁っていて綺麗とは言えなく、鯉以外には特に時間をつぶす要素はありません。すぐ近くが海岸であり波の音が聞こえます。

海と目と鼻の先という直近さにも関わらず淡水という不思議さから伊豆七不思議にも数えられる池。鯉が大量に生息している。富士山の湧水が湧き出ているという伝説もあるとか。
