A medium level hiking mountain in Hakone, starting from Miyanoshita Station. A few areas are a bit steep, otherwise the bamboo forest was very nice. A hike trail that can be done within a day in Hakone. Bring water and also a good map.

4年前から2回目のハイキング。宮城野橋から大文字広場、山頂へ上り、尾根道を下り塔ノ峰、阿弥陀寺を経て箱根湯本へ。途中一切ベンチ類なくレジャーシートは必須。頂上は尾根の広場で笹と高い木が眺望を遮っているので達成感はないが、一部開けた相模湾の眺望良し。このルートの見所は手前の大文字焼きの傾斜からの富士山。登って下っての単純な道行きで、お寺手前以外は適度に整備されている。阿弥陀寺から急な舗装路を下ると箱根湯寮の手前の坂に合流するのでひとっ風呂もあり。道すがらの送迎バスがまだ昼なのに満員なので今回はパス。天候に恵まれ富士山がきれいだったので星＋1。

There is no view from the top. However, the forest is nice and the trail is in good condition. Better continue to Myojingatake to have an...
