Excellent onsen!! Only private bath, they have 16 different baths to choose from, costing from ¥800 to ¥2000 per bath (not per person) for 50 minutes (there is also 80 minutes with extra charge). There is soap (not shampoos), you need to bring your own towel. Open 24 hours, there is parking. It is situated on the slopes of a mountain in a beautiful setting, there are natural steamers outside where you can buy and steam eggs and potatoes or steam your own food. The baths are really amazing, each one is different, various settings and bath tub sizes, many of them are open on one side with beautiful mountains nature views! Pay at the reception where they will give you the key to lock while bathing. There is a small changing room with free hair dryer. The amazing feature is that once you enter your room, the bath is empty. You throw the coins on a machine and then the hot spring water will start running, filling up your bath and then will keep on running for almost 40 minutes. In this way the water you bathe in is always new and 100% clean! After every client they clean up the bath for the next, that's why they give you 50 min., so they then have 10 min. to clean up. Great water and very clean. The location is kind of far from anywhere convenient for me, but im going to make the trip out again when I can. I will probably do it on my next camping trip.

【201810】ここが出来たころから何度も来ていますが、これほどまでにコストパフォーマンスの高い家族風呂は無いです。最近はかなり有名になり、季節の良い土曜日や連休の夜は18時頃だと人が多すぎて、休憩所や蒸し窯も空いていない状況です。 おススメは22時以降だとスムーズに休憩所も蒸し窯も使えます。 また、12月～3月くらいは寒いので人が少ないです♪ ただ、有名になった分、最近はマナーが悪い人が増え、お風呂に入った状態での休憩所の場所取りや複数の釜を１グループが使ったりは当たり前…、受付が閉まったのちに携帯コンロを使って煮物をしている最悪な人も…。なので、監視カメラが設置されてしまった始末です。 マナーを守って楽しく蒸し蒸しをしましょう。 ★==★==★==★==★==★==★== 【201403】内湯50分でお湯をすべて入れ換えて、かつ、蒸し釜や休憩所も使えて800円はかなりコストパフォーマンスが高いです。(半露天は1200円からです。蒸し釜や休憩所はお風呂に入らないと使えません) 温泉に入っている間にさつまいもを蒸し、あがってからは豚肉や鶏肉やウインナー、野菜やとうもろこし、たまごなどを蒸して食べるという流れが定番になりつつあります。 (少しだけ通になるとエビやカニなどの魚介類、茶碗蒸しやうどんなんかも良いですよ) 土曜の夜に行って風呂あがりに蒸した料理とビールを楽しみ、駐車場で車中泊し、翌朝に空色の種でパンを買って、近くの草原で朝食を食べて帰るのが最近の週末の楽しみの１つです。
