◎公開日のはずが開いてない😢 ⚫︎日曜日は公開日のはずだが門は閉まっていた。 ⚫︎訪問日: 2024年4月14日(日)14時頃訪 ◎道が激狭！ ⚫︎案内板の通り進むと、とんでもなく狭い道に誘導されます。正面の細い道ではなく、北側の道からアクセスしましょう。 ⚫︎駐車場は門の下にある。

日曜祝日の開館とのことで日曜日に行きました。管理の方はおられないようでした。国重要文化財というのがなるほどです。豪農だった吉原家住宅、重厚な茅葺き？屋根に圧倒されます。その当時の栄えに思いを馳せました。

向島町の農家住宅で、母家は寄棟造り茅葺の建物でしたね。 所蔵文書や家相図が残っており江戸時代初期の住宅の例として非常に価値の高いものです。 納屋は1840年江戸時代の建築との事でした。

洋ランセンターからの帰り道、いたるところに(国の有形文化財だったかな)吉原家の看板があったので立ち寄ってみました。駐車場は吉原家の眼の前にありますが少し狭い道なので気を着けてください。美しい茅葺きの母屋や離れ、庭も見応えがありました!　事務所のようなところに人はおらず勝手に中に入れました。きれいに手入れされていたのでうれしかったです。今後尾道市や町の人たちがどのように活用していくのかとても気になりました。あんなに美しい茅葺きは見たことがなかったので間近で見...
